The night fade into the morning sun
Your eyes gaze upon me as i awake
To a morning, bright with your embrace
I open my eyes to your smile
Your voice calms me as it did before the night began
still I feel I am dreaming yet you are here with me
It's hard to fanthom such myth Such fantasy
In my arms you are here, In my lifetime you are here
I close my eyes one more time
NO! I am not dreaming
You make me feel the happiness you always wanted to give
No fear, no worry, no End.

Spring.
Spring.
She is a princess,
A goddess, really.
For only she is beautiful in whatever she does.
Her skin is pale,
Not yet tanned by Summer’s heat,
Still frozen from Winter’s touch.
Silent and sure, she smiles at the world.
Her hair falls over one shoulder, soft as can be.
Soft as the baby ferns,
Soft as the baby fawns.
Soft as the green grass between her toes.
Her eyes are full of promise,
Greener than the tallest oak trees.
They tell a story of what is to come,
Reflecting growth and new life.
She is still young, a little child,
Nothing like the Winter before,
Whose old bones creaked
And tried to weather the storm.

It is taking over
I can't breath as
The frost is
Taking,controlling my mind
It's growing in me
Not letting me live
And i feel like I'm not here

If i wouldn't be here
Then it stopped
It melted away from my heart
I felt as a snow storm
But u came like spring
And I woke up from the dream
My heart was frozen as ice
Then you came and melted it away

the voice that grants me peace,
in knowing that winter is over
and the warmth is to return.

Ahhh, lately I've been wondering if I've been losing my musings in reading poetry. I've been critically analyzing multiple poems while at school, trying to find the deeper meanings and trying desperately so to see through a romanticists' eyes. This has reminded me of my love of meditative poems, how they would fill me with such warmth and calm my mind with lovely imagery and thought.
I love it, the simple idea of waking up next to someone you love made me smile.
